You are Invited to Attend Connectedly’s 40th Anniversary Reception Honoring our Founder, Merle Drake
Merle Drake founded Connectedly (formerly known as SOWN, short for Supportive Older Women’s Network) in 1984 and served as Executive Director until 2020. Merle recognized the tremendous, unmet needs and challenges faced by older women and in response, developed innovative programs to address these needs. Under her leadership, the organization expanded into a nationally recognized, multi-service agency for vulnerable older adults and grandparent caregivers throughout the greater Philadelphia area.
